Lancaster, Exton and WyomissingCome grow with us! We are currently seeking an experienced Life Insurance Producer. This position includes competitive base compensation, plus a sales bonus.
You will be responsible for generating new business by identifying potential clients, building relationships, and growing your knowledge of life and disability insurance offerings. Success in this role is defined by consistent new business activity, relationship building and the ability to work effectively within a team-based agency culture.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, executives and high net worth individuals, cultivated through prospecting and referrals.
- Collaborate with EHD Producers and Sales Leadership to introduce insurance planning concepts to existing EHD clients and identify new business opportunities, presenting a unified selling approach.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to identify new business opportunities for executive level business, personal life insurance or disability insurance solutions.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and innovation based on knowledge of the market including understanding financial issues relevant to clients.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
What You Will Need
- Two to three years of proven sales experience in life insurance or financial services.
- Active Life & Health license.
- Four-year college degree required.

What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through networking, referrals, community/association involvement and market research.

What You Will Do
- Generate new business opportunities through professional networking, centers of influence, client referrals, community/association involvement and activities, cold calling or other appropriate channels.
- Meet key metrics including sales goals, number of prospects in the pipeline, meetings per month, closed sales and retention.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and innovation based on knowledge of the market, carriers and products, including understanding financial issues relevant to the client.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge necessary to communicate solutions effectively.
- Attend and participate in regional and agency-wide sales meetings.
