This is a web-based platform that provides the client with the tools needed for supervisors/managers to report Worker’s Compensation claims. We create the page that houses all the forms needed when a claim occurs, including a copy of their doctor panel. We also have the ability to house safety committee meeting minutes and inspections. Most importantly, a link to access the reporting tool for their carrier or Third Party Administrator’s website to report claims is created. This is ideal for clients with multiple locations or numerous departments.
Typically, a large account has claims funneling into one person to report to a carrier. This can create a bottleneck for reporting and lagtime in reporting worker’s compensation claims can increase the cost of the claim. The quicker a claim is reported, the less costly it is. We created WorkCompass™ to allow employers to transfer the reporting of the claims to their supervisors/managers to expedite the reporting process and remove the bottleneck. We create the page and teach the managers about the process, so there is never any guesswork. The supervisors are typically collecting the information and reporting to a Risk Manager or HR person, so this process eliminates that congestion.
