Kicking of our first spotlight is Michael Halbiger, a Personal Insurance Producer located in our Eastern office. Over the past year of Michael being with EHD, he is recognized for his genuine approach to client service, providing expertise and interest with every person he works with.
“I enjoy helping people learn more about insurance and their coverage while also saving them money,” Michael says. “It’s also about building relationships and ensuring that they feel confident in the coverage they receive.”
Before EHD
Originally from Bensalem PA, Michael studied Sports Management at Drexel University. Growing up, he built a passion for basketball, playing it all the way up until college, where he turned his passion into a profession. He became a coach for Drexel’s women’s basketball team, spending six days a week helping them prepare and learn each season.
With coaching requiring a demanding schedule, Michael wanted to have more personal time to himself. He found the opportunity to work with EHD and since getting his role, he has not looked back.
A Culture of Connection
At EHD, personalization isn’t just a nice touch. It’s part of who we are. Michael embodies this in the way he approaches every client interaction, whether it’s through a thoughtful conversation or a handwritten note.
“Personal touches really matter,” he says. “Sometimes it’s the small things that make the biggest difference.”
Clients often tell us they appreciate how we don’t just show up at renewal time. We’re there with guidance, check-ins, and support whenever it matters most. For Michael, and for all of us at EHD, it’s about making sure every client feels seen, heard, and cared for.
Life Outside the Office
Michael enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle whether he is on the court or the track. He is now a referee for a basketball league, with a goal of his to become a referee at the college level. Michael also has completed two sprint triathlons that included swimming for a fourth of a mile, twelve miles on a bike, and three miles running. He plans on continuing to train and attend more in the future.
Michael also loves to travel, especially with his wife. They have traveled to many locations such as Montreal, New Orleans, and San Francisco. Some locations they are looking to travel to next include northern Italy and Switzerland.
