This annual survey and study, focused on leading independent insurance agencies, meticulously captures the operational strategies of the most exemplary agencies, while encouraging others to adopt similar standards. EHD proudly joins a select assembly of insurance agencies across the United States, considering that only 287 independent agencies out of more than 36,000 nationwide achieved the distinction of being a Best Practices Agency.

The chosen Best Practices agencies maintain their status throughout a three-year cycle by submitting comprehensive financial and operational data for meticulous review each year. This marks the second year of the ongoing three-year study cycle. In 2022, 2,600 independent agencies across the United States were nominated to partake in the annual study, yet a mere 287 agencies achieved the honor. Selection required the agency to be positioned among the top 35-45 performing agencies within one of six revenue categories.
