Hello everyone, I’m Mike Malinowski, President and CEO of EHD Insurance and your host of the Close Calls podcast.

On this show, we ask real business leaders to unpack their experience navigating and overcoming close calls on the job. We ask what went wrong? What saved the day? And how did it change the way they lead? Each episode features candid conversations with successful leaders about the hidden risks they’ve navigated in their careers and companies. But also, I’m hoping to educate and share. As President and CEO at EHD, I’m focused on moving our clients forward. I’ve been in the insurance and risk management business for 30 years, 20 of which have been right here at EHD. Part of my job today is to continue exploring new solutions and new ways to serve our clients through better preparation, improved processes, and new technology. Through this show, I’m hoping to share these learnings with you all in ways that promote education and growth.

The people I get the chance to work with are my favorite part of this business, and I’m excited to share these dialogues with you all. Each episode, these thought leaders will share their experiences and insights, and ignite powerful and interesting conversations. We’ll have guests in a wide range of industries that found themselves in and overcame situations you wouldn’t believe, and I can’t wait to share their stories with you.
